Presented quality Flyye RAV vest is a sophisticated replica of a quick
release CIRAS style plate carrier, used by UKSF and Delta Force. Sturdy
and functional RAV, which stands for Releasable Assault Vest, is made of
incredibly durable Invista 1000D Cordura Nylon (PU treated), which is
300% times more resistant to the usual wear and tear than normal Nylon.
Moreover the material is waterproof to 893.3 degrees and no water will
retain on its surface.
What distinguishes the RAV from other vests available is the way that
the cumberbunds attach: these simply zip together in the middle and then
are secured by large Hook-and-loop on the back. This obviously makes it easier
to don and remove. Moreover cumberbunds, as well as shoulders, can be
easily adjusted. Both the internal and external cumberbunds are adjusted
by threading the Quick Release wires through different loops at the end
of the cumberbunds, while shoulders rely on snaps and Hook-and-loop. All these
characteristics make the vest snugs the body perfectly, feels
comfortable to wear and stable even when running.
RAV features well-designed Quick Release System that releases the
internal and external cumberbunds and detaches the shoulders, so in case
of emergency the vest can be disassembled and quickly released from the
body. The release handle is covered by a patch of Hook-and-loop and can be
easily swapped to either side of the vest. The Quick Release System
feature is most used when soldier falls into water and needs to prevent
himself from being weighed down.
The vest also includes imitation soft armour which helps keep its form
and stay rigid, as well as removable shoulder padding – helpfull when
carrying heavy loads.
